Where to return 

Customers that what to return their purchases to Ace hardware and made a purchase either online or in any Ace hardware store are to return the purchase to any of the Ace hardware stores nearby. If the customer cannot find any store nearby are required to call Ace hardware Customer Care for instructions on how to return the purchase.  

Period of return 

Ace hardware return policy gives customers 30-days from the date of purchase to return an unused purchase, in like-new condition, and the original packaging. 

Return process

The customer is required to provide their ID including all the paperwork that came with the product including product instructions, receipt, parts, and accessories. 

Cost of return 

The cost of shipping the purchase back to Ace hardware is catered for by the customer unless the purchase the customer received was incorrect, damaged, or defective.

If the item returned by the customer is assembled but not defective or damaged, a customer is charged a 15% restocking fee or a minimum of $20.

A customer is charged a $15 pickup fee if they want to return an item that is not defective or damaged.

Any tinted paint ordered online is not eligible for a refund at any Ace hardware store.

 Damaged or defective item 

If a product purchased by a customer has been damaged or is defective after purchase and not during shipping the item is not eligible for return to Ace hardware store.
