Since the space hasn’t been vacant for 26 years, it took co-owner Danny Marks much longer than expected to open (keep in mind, they paid for the space in 2015). What with multiple permits to request, retrofitting the building, and restoring old architecture. The co-owning brothers, Danny and Doug, also run an Emporium in greater Chicago. “[We host] company parties, team building events, birthday parties, fundraisers, meet ups, bachelor/ette parties, bar crawls, and pretty much any other type of event,” they told us. Reservations are accepted for nine to 900 people—that’s pretty cray.
The space will also include arcade classics, pinball, pool, foosball, air hockey, skeeball, shuffleboard, indie games and various other vintage games for those history buffs in the back. So why not grab a friend for tomorrow and go help the brothers celebrate!
